Possible binocular vision dysfunction? Chronic facial pain and headaches, facial asymmetry, light sensitivity, nausea

I think I’m starting to put the pieces together why I’m in constant pain. I thought these were all separate things but I think BVD makes sense.

My main issue is that I’ve had a low-grade headache basically my whole life. I actually don’t notice it most of the time, but since I was a kid I have a noticeable headache almost every day at some point. But when I think about it I have a “surface level” headache all the time. The muscles on my eye/forehead/brow are constantly tense and I can only relax them if I close my eyes.

My left eyebrow has always been more arched than the other. I always thought it was just normal facial asymmetry but I’ve noticed that my brow/temple muscle on that side is constantly tense, and this is the focal point of my headaches. It’s always behind my left eye/arch of my eyebrow. When I cover that eye I can immediately relax my whole face.

It gets worse throughout the day especially when looking at my phone. Even night mode is way too bright and I’ve had to turn my whole phone display red. The pain/tenseness spreads down to my mouth/jaw, and my upper lip on that side is also thinner than my right side. My whole left side of my face is slimmer actually.

My whole neck/shoulder/jaw area is also incredibly tense. Even though my jaw feels more tense on the left side, my right TMJ joint hurts a lot more and feels sore to the touch. My molars also always kinda hurt too.

When I read about BVD and habitually tilting your head to one side, I noticed I feel way less tense when I tilt my head slightly to the left, and progressively more tense the more straight/to the right I tilt my head.

I also have ADHD, and chronic stomach issues. I almost always feel dizzy and nauseous, especially when reading or looking at a screen. I’ve also been noticeably clumsy/off balance my whole life. I also have eustachian tube dysfunction, and the left ear is usually the side that gets full.

I didn’t think any of these things were related until I was researching my headaches and came across BVD and it all seemed to make sense. Most people with chronic headaches had a problem with furrowing their brows, but I had a problem with arching on only one side and my pain originating from there.

Do my symptoms sound like BVD? Thank you for reading!!

Speed/technique for using Derminator with no hyaluronic acid glide

I think I’m finally ready to use my Derminator for the first time after summer ends and have a few final questions!

I know it’s probably fine to use a low molecular weight HA like Hyaron, but in Dr. Setterfield’s book he spent soooo much time stressing to only use high molecular weight HA and it scared me lol.

Because of that and because I want to avoid OwnDoc’s tariffs, I’ll probably use sterile saline mixed with a skin booster (I’m looking at Selastin Exo Plus or Meamo Jeunetique). I was considering Anteage HA but I can’t find anywhere that explicitly states it’s sterile and safe for medical depth use.

So my real question is: if you microneedle with a Derminator using only sterile saline or saline and a skin booster, no HA, what technique do you use? Does a thinner glide mean you should stamp only, or are circles still okay? And what speed do you use? Most people use Hyaron but I want to hear from people who don’t use any HA for slip.

For my first time I’m planning on doing .5 mm everywhere, except under my eyes I’ll only go up to .25 mm. Thank you in advance I appreciate this sub!! <333
