I flew from London Heathrow to Athens (BA262) this morning and experienced my very first ‘touch and go’ (as I’ve learned it’s called), and my first aborted landing for that matter.

There were high winds approaching the runway and while the landing felt a little bumpy, I was not at all expecting to suddenly take off again.

Much smoother second time round, thankfully. But as a nervous flyer, I’m hoping I’m one and done on this. 😮‍💨
