Does anyone ever feel like their pieces always arrive smaller than expected?

I think I have literal size blindness 😂 I’m more so curious if anyone else has this happen to them every single time they order a piece of jewelry. For some reason it always feels so much larger and more substantial in my head than it does when I take it out of the packaging!! Like I build it up in my imagination when it’s shipping, and then it’s always smaller in scale IRL. And it happens literally every single time, no matter where or what I order.

I know this is 100% me and just user error - not complaining about the businesses. There are always accurate measurements, weight, plenty of photos for scale. But without fail, I always feel like when I unbox it, it’s so much smaller IRL.

This $2500 pendant I just had arrive from DY is so stunning, but I kept building it up in my head as a larger amulet. I was surprised when it came out the size of a quarter lmao. But I know they clearly stated mm size and everything - I’m just size blind.

Just thought this was funny and curious if this is a shared experience with anyone else or if it’s literally just me?!
