Permanent buff to... beating women?

I just finished the quest where you have to rescue the Sybil of Dibella and bring her to the temple in Markarth. When I took the quest from Hamal she told me that I would be rewarded with a blessing from Dibella which would make it easier for me to woo women, but instead I got a permanent buff which makes me do more combat damage to women? Now, I am playing as a man so maybe "damage to the opposite sex" was designed with it in mind that female characters would be playing this quest? Still, this seems a bit messed up.

Saints and Seducers quest line is such a disappointment

I just played through the S&S quest line for the first time and was thoroughly enjoying it because it felt really well fleshed out but then it just ended abruptly. I killed the conjurer, took the sword of Jyggalag and Sheogorath-shaped amber thinking I would be doing something important with them but no, you can't. You can trade one or the other for a lousy helmet but beyond that there's nothing. What a let down. If you read all of the journals and letters pertinent to the quest it seems pretty obvious that they're building up to the player going to the Shivering Isles, especially with the ritual the conjurer is performing when you find him, but there's nothing. The suspense is built higher and higher until you're just dropped with a handful of items that should be important but are apparently not.
