When I first got into marketing I thought I needed to learn a huge stack right away. SEO tools, email tools, design tools, ad platforms, dashboards, automation, all of it. Looking back, I probably would have learned faster if I had kept it way simpler.

What I actually needed was a few tools that helped me understand what was working, not a pile of software that made me feel productive.

So what are your thoughts, what tools were actually worth learning first, and which ones turned out to be more of a distraction

Been scrolling a lot lately and getting this weird sense that everything is starting to blend together. Not in a "AI is ruining content" way, more like everyone is pulling from the same pool of ideas. I think part of it is how easy it is now to research, remix, and produce quickly. Which is great, but it also means a lot of content is built on top of other content instead of actual experience or perspective.
