I have a decal project in mind (would outsource the actual work) but wanted to ask this community for some advice.

I have a new bicycle with a very busy paint job. I would like to apply a rectangular vinyl decal with an intricate logo cut out. Rather than have the underlying paint show through the logo cut out, I’d like a white background. So I figure the best strategy is to first apply a pure white vinyl rectangle and then put the logo vinyl decal on top of the white vinyl. My obvious goal is not to damage the bicycle’s paint job.

Any advice would be appreciated!

I’ve got multiple spare links from various Shimano 11 sp and 12 sp chains that I’ve cut in the past. I am trying to organize them. Just to confirm, if a link’s outer plate is marked as “HG” it’s a 12 sp chain. That is in contrast to an outer plate that is marked as “HG-X11” which is an 11 sp chain. Any insight would be appreciated!

I’ve got a 1x12 GRX drivetrain with a 10-51 cassette. I upsized my chainring from a 40t to a 44t. Chainlength seems okay to me but was wondering if there’s a rule of thumb for when to add chainlinks. Any insight would be appreciated!

I am considering renting an RV for a PSU football tailgate for the 2026 season. Was wondering if there is a company in the area that specializes in renting out tailgate supplies (eg chairs, portable grill, sound system, etc.). Goal would be to pick and drop off… no delivery needed. Recommendations are appreciated!
