Cube Nuroad Pro fit

I’m very keen on getting a Cube Nuroad Pro XXS. However I struggle to find any cube my size to try or any bikes my size. I am 155cm with 71cm inseam. (5’1 & 28”), I think nuroad pro XXS is the best option for my budget.

My only benchmark in road bikes/ gravel is liv as they are the only bikes in my size on display. I tried Liv devote 1 and Liv avail AR 1, both in XS, felt amazing but out of budget as I’m completely new to cycling (besides my daily second/ third hand city bike).

Me on Liv devote XS, size felt alright for a very short wee test drive. I’d love to make a decision before trying it out but it’s just not an option. Thoughts on the fit with cube nuroad pro xxs would really help!

Cube Nuroad Pro for short girls?

I’m very keen on getting a Cube Nuroad Pro XXS. However I struggle to find any cube my size to try it out. I am 155cm with 71cm inseam. (5’1 & 28”), I think XXS is the best option. Any horizontally challenged peeps can share your experience with cube nuroad models? What size do you have and how does it feel for you?

My only benchmark in road bikes/ gravel is liv as I have a very hard time finding any bikes in my size on display. I tried Liv devote 1 and Liv avail AR 1, both in XS, felt amazing but out of budget.

Me on Liv devote 1 in XS. My first time on a gravel/ road bike, it was glorious! https://imgur.com/a/y4Cqgvw

Low maintenance entry level bikes for smaller frame?

Completely new to road bikes, what would be a good entry bike that’s low maintenance, safe, fun to ride on a sunny day? For a XXS or XS frame.

Went to the biggest bike store in the Netherlands, I asked about Trek Domane al 2 Gen 4 and Cube Nuroad pro, the guy totally dismissed those, said gravel is dangerous in NL cos it is unnecessary and the brake is too slow. ( they didn’t have my size for me to try in the showroom). Then I got recommended Liv. So he says endurance, Shimano 105, hydraulic brakes - and avoid mechanic brakes. All options exceeded my original €1k budget, he says a decent entry bike is around 1,5k€, or don’t get into biking. (And I learnt that be taller helps a ton too).

I am 155cm with 71cm inseam. So it leaves me with very limited options like Liv Avail AR 1 (Shimano 105) and Liv Avail AR 2 (cues I believe) for entry good bikes. They didn’t have AR 2 for me to test, I tried and loved the AR 1 but it’s above my original budget.

  1. is it worth investing more for Shimano 105 with a hydra brake and if a beginner can feel that difference?

  2. Which bikes would you suggest around €1,3-€1,8k for xxs/xs?

  3. And any rough idea about the resell value for Shimano 105 bikes in general?

I have read sooo many good reviews about Domane and its way cheaper but can’t find one to try so idk..
