I built a local app to manage your Fujifilm recipes

Hey r/fujifilm!

I built a Film Simulations Manager, a self-hosted app that reads your Fujifilm JPEGs, extracts the full recipe from EXIF data, and lets you browse your catalog by recipe, film simulation, white balance, grain and more.

Features:

  • Browse and filter your catalog by recipe and settings.
  • View full-resolution images with their complete recipe side by side.
  • Push recipes directly to your camera over USB — connect in PTP mode and write to any custom slot (C1–C7).
  • Interactive recipe graph — visualize how your recipes relate and evolved from each other.
  • Rate images 0–5 stars, individually or in bulk

Everything runs locally — your photos never leave your machine.

Camera compatibility: Tested on X-S10. Based on the PTP property codes, X-Trans IV and V models (X-T3, X-T4, X-T5, X-T30, X100V, X100VI, X-H2, etc.) are likely compatible — but that's unconfirmed. If you try it on another model, please report back!

Setup: Automated setup script included, currently supported on macOS and Ubuntu.

This is a GPL V3 project, so feel free to share and contribute!
