I may have made an impulse purchase and this is my first concern. 2007 x3 3.0i
Any idea what this noise is? This isn’t even the only issue. Theres a slight vibration at idle and above 60mph it gets worse. But only when Not accelerating. Which the ai says could be driveshaft linkage. I plan on taking it to mechanic on Monday to assess the situation.
There’s a couple other minor issues I’ve found that’s going to bring the repair bill up as well.
Headlight high beams only work when the stick is pulled in. When it clicks forward, the light comes on the dash but no brights.
I really want to love this car and want to believe these are manageable repairs. But this noise has me the most concerned. Thanks for sharing your time and expertise!
