Bag policy for Canadian Grand Prix and other tips for first timer
I'm heading to Montreal next week for my first Grand Prix. I'm incredibly excited but have a question regarding the bag policy for the race. I'm used to going to events in the U.S. where only small clear bags are allowed. It seems it's a bit different at this event.
I found the bag policy page and it states that,
"Coolers and backpacks are allowed on-site but must fit the following dimensions: 22.8 cm (9 in.) x 45.7 cm (18 in.) x 25.4 cm (10 in.). Grandstand ticket holders must place their cooler or bag under their seats."
I have this bag that I'd like to bring: https://www.511tactical.com/rush-moab-8.html?\_gl=1\*1f8hmn7\*\_up\*MQ..\*\_gs\*MQ..&gclid=CjwKCAjwn4vQBhBsEiwAq3hhNwnLRYOb\_MAkF7MyB6uVtSlbqzTrUkLVBWLkQl\_knhAUvAOMAckYiRoCWZMQAvD\_BwE&gbraid=0AAAAAD4yJClZXXNxon4Q9AxX2yuOkzbWj
Would this be ok to bring? I'm planning on bringing my DLSR camera with my telephoto lens as well as a monopod. All of which fit in the bag or can easily attach to it.
I got tickets in Grandstand 12 as well as the F1 Experience package. I'm attending the pit walk on the Thursday and timing will be tight for me so I don't want to be turned away because of my bag and miss out on the pit walk.
Any other recommendations on what I should bring for the race?
Thank you!
