Should I sell my collection? C
I’ve been collecting lps for about a year now on and off, it kind of comes in phases like “omg I need to have this one” and then forgetting about them entirely for months. I have less than 100 lps but I have ones of value (2254, 1699, 1120, 2593, etc.)
But now I’ve kinda reached my limit, the market is getting way too expensive for me to keep up with and I’m about to start college so I need to start saving up just incase.
Plus, I feel like I’m only collecting to say I have a certain pet, or maybe just bragging rights, which is kind of shitty and I don’t feel like a real collector, I really do care for these pets, but all I do is set them on my bookshelf and just look at them lmfao, maybe that’s just what a collectors supposed to do? Maybe I’m overthinking? But idk I just feel like these little plastic toys deserve better in a weird way lmfao.
But I am still super proud of my collection and I really don’t want to regret selling them and having to start all over again.
Is this a normal feeling with collectors? What are yalls thoughts?
