I was dreading listening to the episode where Dax danced for a male musical guest.
I knew it was coming because I skipped the episode and heard about it on the next episode fact check.
I hated it so much. I so felt Monica’s pain. I disassociated.
I cannot conceive of watching this in person. I could not watch the video. I want to always keep my crush on Dax, and watching this would have absolutely ruined it for me.
All of that said, I laughed so hard and I really loved it as much as I hated it. Dax is so weird and I love someone who just leans into their weird. Jack was SO freaking gracious and I loved how much he leaned into someone else’s weird.

UPDATE: I WATCHED THE VIDEO.
The cringe was so much more manageable than expected. I hate to admit how much I actually enjoyed it. I am happy to report my crush is still intact.
Anyone saying Monica was over the top, made it about her, or otherwise criticizing her for her reaction to this experience should take a hike.
