New grass, grown from seed, has reached 9cm in height, at its highest. Couple of other parts of the lawn that grew slower are at the 6/7cm. With a gentle tug the grass feels rooted in the clay soil. Have a brand new mower that can be set to 65mm cut height.
Is this lawn ready for its first mow? And then apply fertiliser after cut? Hoping cut and fertiliser will help to fill out some of the patches.
Super scared about ripping out the young grass and ruining all my hard work.
