I’m visiting Norway with my 10 yo son for 10-14 days in late July/early August. I’ve had a tough time deciding between doing (a) Lofoten (7 days) + Senja (4 days) or (b) a big loop from Alesund Day 1 & 2: Sunmøre Alps and Hjørundfjord Day 3-6: Jostedalsbreen & Jotunheimen National Parks Day 7: Geiranger UNESCO Fjord Day 8-10: Trollstigen and Åndalsnes

In both places, we would have a camper van. I’ve been advised that the weather is more stable with option (b) and that the broader variety of activities with option (b) may be better with my son.

Thoughts? Both look incredibly beautiful.
