OtterlyNoah guided his artist through DMCAing other creators who are critical of him
You may recall that OtterlyNoah was caught up in a plagiarism scandal a few months ago. Since then, his artist has been abusing the DMCA system to take down content critical of OtterlyNoah. Initially, OtterlyNoah distanced himself from the whole thing, claiming he was trying to 'end the beef' with two creators in particular:
Both creators publicly stated on Twitter/X that OtterlyNoah was not responsible for the claims against them, but now it has come out that he was responsible for it, coaching his artist through the process and then convincing the affected creators he was not responsible and to make statements to that effect. The statements for both are no longer available on their pages but can be seen in Dickers' stream.
These are the DMs between Noah and the artist.
It has also come to light that this is not the first time either, as he has guided another artist to do the same.
Noah has since left this message on his YouTube page, which also includes his confession that he did walk the artist through DMCAing the videos.
tl;dr: OtterlyNoah, who was a few months ago found to have plagiarised content, has also instructed his artist to DMCA strike creators who have been critical of him.
Thoughts: I don't follow any of these creators. I did subscribe to OtterlyNoah before the plagiarism came out, and had hoped he had changed, learned his lesson. Regardless of the content, abusing the DMCA to silence criticism is a bad move. I think doing this hands those creator(s) ammunition to say 'he couldn't argue his way out of that so he had to DMCA my video to silence me'.
