if nothing, what exactly happened to the person that captured or sold them, were they beat up when they forced to refund the buyer or the enslaved received the brunt of the punishment from the master/owner?

i do not mean shareholders and ceos of insurance companies! I mean, like your principal of a certain school, supervisor at a warehouse or similar people with those kind of job titles!

after all, they say 3rd grade test scores are used to predict how many prisons we will need. and without the 3R’s you cant be hired for anything other than manual or under the table labor which dont pay much. and if you are not able to keep up with the rent or food, you are probably going to start stealing (average joe in poverty) so what is the alternative to save taxpayer dollars?
