After an 18 month long journey of research, practice and many late nights writing, sketching, formatting, play-testing and promoting, I find myself in the fortunate position to say my first ‘proper’ adventure has reached its funding goal. A lot of the knowledge on how to get here came straight from this subreddit - or I found linked resources and made connections here that lead to that success. So thank you to all who contribute.

I have worked really hard on this adventure - attempting to do nearly everything myself (except the editing) and while I don’t anticipate it’s going to end up on any ‘recommended osr modules’ thread, I think it’s really fun and i had a blast learning and working on it. If you’re interested in picking up a copy, I hope you enjoy reading and running it too.

The 'Toymaker’ has gone missing - and nobility across the realm are scrambling to get their hands on his highly sought-after dolls. Hauntingly beautiful, and scarily well made.

His workshop is hidden, deep within the ‘Whispering Woods’. A dark and desolate forest, that locals warn all who dare enter, never return... that is, all except the Toymaker. To find his workshop, you must navigate the pitch black wood, haunted by imprisoned demons, zealous lumberjack wardens, cursed werewolves, possessed dolls, an entitled elf prince and a gaggle of other monstrous horrors.

The balance of power in the woods is shifting - will the evils that lay trapped here be released unto the world?

The Master Of Puppets" is a level 4-6 dark and whimsical forest crawl adventure designed for use with Old School Essentials. This 50 page A5 zine contains over 50 keyed locations, including 2 dungeons, and multiple factions vying for control over the forsaken woods.

Back it on Backerkit today! While the initial funding goal has been reached, there’s still a few stretch goals left to look forward to. Thanks again guys!

I’ve only a few pieces left to finish for my upcoming zine. It’s the first adventure I’ve written and illustrated all myself - a dark and whimsical fairytale forest crawl adventure for level 4-6 OSE characters.

The Backerkit campaign to help fund a physical print run goes live next week - it’s officially part of OSE month so would appreciate any support.

If you click follow on the teaser page, you can check out a free 4 page sample of the adventure.
