tree branch in our yard was hanging from heavy winds so we cut it the rest of the way down & this came out from the inside of the branch. the branch looks hollow. pics included of inside of branch as well as some larvae we found.

is this from termites? located near chicago IL.

i’m just trying to learn more about this since my son brought home packs and upon looking up this card just because, i can’t find it anywhere. i’ve seen similar cards, labeled with combo buff, but not this exact card. anyone know why?
