My Ducati Monster 937 keeps throwing ABS + traction control errors after a few km of riding.
It shows “traction control error” and “ABS error”. If I stop the bike, turn it off and back on, both errors disappear — then they come back again after some more riding.
Diagnostic showed C1033 and C1034, both related to the front ABS sensor.
Another weird thing: when there’s no error, if I try to switch from Touring to Sport it says “Close throttle.”
When the error is active, it says “Close throttle and release brakes” even when I’m not touching the brakes.
My mechanic adjusted the air gap between the front ABS sensor and tone ring by removing a spacer. It’s now at 1.0 mm.
Has anyone seen this before? Could it still be sensor alignment, a damaged tone ring, wiring/connector issue, or maybe the bike falsely thinks the front brake is applied?
