Can I give my honest opinion? I think this music video is quite simple and minimalist. I saw many fans complaining because they expected it to be set in a field of flowers. She had already posted photos of flowers on her stories, and she also talked to fans via WhatsApp Business asking, "Should I make a music video for 'BIRDS OF A FEATHER'?" That's when expectations rose considerably. When the video was released, some criticized it, others liked it, and some even hated it but said she looked beautiful. BUT I think the official video conveys the concept and vibe of the song much better than what she had previously discarded.

She had this idea of delivering a more romantic vibe with flowers, but it ended up being a little dark, with her spinning in the chair, feeling dragged on the floor and hitting the walls. But that's really the vibe of the song! Love is so intense that it pulls you in, and even though it hurts, you go along because you love the person so much and want to be with them until death.
