I have a fender blues junior and I play my Strat into it at the edge of breakup. The lead tone sounds so thin and weak. I play my tele and my 335 through the amp and it sounds so much better (although the lead tone is still a bit weak). I have a Boss SD-1 and it helps a little.
What’s a good recommendation to get a great lead tone? Should I go with a heavier gain pedal like a Friedman? ChatGPT tells me I need a delay and an EQ, but this doesn’t make much sense to me.
What do the experienced guitar people recommend please ?
