It is incredible to me how his teachings are the same as Acim. It is incredible how he knew.He taught that anyone could "know" the truth by quieting the ego (the "still waters") and allowing the Divine Intelligence to speak directly to their consciousness.

Fox’s most fundamental teaching is that "you and God are not two things."
The Ocean Analogy: He compared us to drops in the ocean. A drop isn't the whole ocean, but it is made of the "same stuff" as the ocean.
The Error: We feel "not enough" or lonely when we look only at the "drop" (our personality, bank account, or body) and forget the "ocean" (the Divine Substance) it is made of.
The Prayer: Scientific prayer is the act of looking past the "drop" to remember the "Ocean."
