Is this a normal issue? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED
My girlfriend told me she would get me a Qi10 for christmas so she did, we bought it from a legit website as a used club on “like new” condition, the club didn’t last a week and on my first time going to the course, im on Hole 3 and mid swing the head went out flying (attached picture below) the shaft apparently broke at the nozzle.
Couple of weeks later I managed to sent it back under warranty, they didn’t have any available Qi10 so I decided I was going to add an extra $50 and get the Qi35 “Like new” also. I got the Qi35, didn’t use it for a week because couldn’t schedule a tee time, hence this weekend I went to the range and on the first ball I heard a weird noise and the head became a little wobbly and then fell off.
Both of the breaks are in the exact same spot, the edge of the shaft where it meets the driver head in the nozzle.
Whats weird for me is that I have and old Nike Sasquatch and thats my battle horse, that thing has been hit everywhere but the face, has a HUGE dent, I’ve hit the ground with it when I was learning and its still standing.
How come a mostly new $500+ driver breaks this easily?
Also last time with the Qi10 I noticed that the shaft was longer than the one on my Sasquatch and today just noticed the difference also on size with the Qi35, does that have something to do?
Im talking with the website support about the issue, Im also thinking should I just take it to a Golf shop and get it fix by cutting the shaft a little shorter?
Qi10 broken
Qi35 close up broken
Qi35 broken
Difference between Sasquatch and Qi35 shaft, notice how much longer it is on the Qi35
Any help is appreciated
