Or does he? It's also not there where it should be visible. Is it even a pin? It's only seen a few times, mostly covered by the lapel. Was it supposed to be there or was it a leftover from an earlier revision that removed the pin from his design? Why would he have it under and not on the lapel? Could be a cute callback to his cult leader days.

Aside from being adorable, they also reflect Vox's emotions to a degree!

While most of the time they stand upright, there are a few times they change position, mainly in the past. Electricity can be seen surging between them at times, but it is not known what exactly causes it to happen. Some kind of intense emotion, such as anger, excitement or pain is likely, though it doesn't happen every time he experiences one of these feelings.

In the past, he used to let them be more "free", putting his top hat behind them, though this is probably just because there used to be more space on his head. The antennas went loopy when he was sad and they also reflected his shyness. His left one is also visibly longer than his right one. It could've gotten bent due to an injury we haven't seen yet (to match Val's) or maybe he was just insecure that they were asymmetrical, so to symbolize perfection he just bent it himself to have both of them be the same length.

I have a silly theory that maybe Vox didn't like how much emotion his antennas show, so he put them through his hat so it mostly holds them up and they don't display his true emotions too visibly. The only time we see Vox's antenna go down is when he's in terrible distress, not even the hat could hold it.

In conclusion: They're cute and kissable.

Also fun thing: I thought the plural of "antenna" is "antennae" but that only applies to insects. If it's a device like a TV, it's "antennas"!
