Building first pedalboard, looking for feedback
I am building my first pedal board after playing for years. I am looking for feedback/ suggestions for pedals.
Signal chain
Keeley Compressor Plus (always on, tucked under riser)
EB-10 (I play single coil, humbuckers, and p90s so I like this EQ for leveling out my guitars quickly)
POG Pico
ODR-1x
Prince of Tone
Greer Lightspeed (always on, low drive)
EP booster (used as volume boost for solos)
Amp Send
Julianna chorus
Carbon Copy
Omniverb
My tuner is not part of the signal chain and get signal from a tuner out on my patch bay.
I am really happy with my gain stage and order, I typically run the Nobles with the gain boost on and the prince of tone in overdrive mode but rarely run both at the same time.
I use the reverb on my amp at home, however I play outside my house a lot and don’t drag my amp, which I why I opted for a simple reverb on the end of my chain so I have access, my patch bay has a series mode where it bypasses the FX loop. I do have an output buffer for the end of my chain.
I am looking for a versatile board, but with relatively simple pedals (fewer knobs and settings). I mostly play edge of breakup to fill distortion.
I thought about getting a fuzz or heavier distortion pedal, but I thought I that might be too much gain stage, plus I heard fuzz does not play nicely with buffers.
I am open to any feedback and suggestions.
