Heading to Nova Scotia in June for a month. Will be camping around the west side of the province this time. Hitting places like Halifax, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, Yarmouth, Digby, Keji Park. Have been reading about how bad ticks are in the province. Any advice for protecting ourselves? Our Havanese dog has already had Lyme disease. We will be updating her shots soon. We like to hike and thought about getting those gaiters to help keep them out of our pantlegs. Bug spray with deet i think is also or that product called Atlantick i think it has lemongrass scent

Any suggestions for what we can spray or put around our camper?
