I sold my entire record collection to help move/buy our first house with my girlfriend. I made about $17k, and that money was a safety net for us in the beginning. Flash forward, we're married and moved again. This time into our dream house. I found an old record player, set up the living room stereo, and put on the only record I own now: this copy\* of "Waiting Game" by my favorite band Eggy. It was a full circle moment and the sound was so good, the whole thing brought me to tears. And definitely got the itch back! Time to hit some local shops to start rebuilding.
