Straight-Pull vs J-Hook
Building a MTB wheel for the 3rd, maybe 4th time that my son has mashed another flat-spot into…again. DT Swiss EX511 rims and I9 Hub with straight-pull spokes. It’s maybe crazy; but I’m wondering if the straight spokes can slide in the hub and that offers less strength/support than a j-hook would?
