Hi everyone,

I’m looking at a used Honda GB350 as my first bike (30M, 90kg, 182cm). I will use it mainly for relaxed weekend rides on secondary roads, exploring towns and roads nearby, ocasionally commuting in a big city and very rarely short highway stretches. A few questions:

1. Highway performance: Is it comfortable and safe at 100–120 km/h on short highway sections and with mild inclines? My main concern is a 15-30 min stretch of three lane highway limited at 120km/h with big trucks that I might have to ride trough occasionally to get to cool roads. I don’t expect to enjoy this part, just get through it safely and decently.
2. Will it feel underpowered? For my intended use and weight (chill rides , exploring secondary roads, short trips), should the power be enough? I have no intention on riding fast or aggressively (for that I might get another bike down the line).
3. Maintenance & reliability: How often do tires, brakes, fluids, and minor adjustments need attention? Any early upgrades you’d recommend (suspension, screen, seat)?
4. Light touring practicality: With a small bag or soft luggage (I’m gonna get two panniers for sure for this and a seat bag), how much can you realistically carry for a day or overnight? I have lightweight camping gear already.
5. Other considerations: Any quirks, things to check on used bikes, or common mistakes first-time owners make?
