Looking for housing on South Whidbey Island
Hi Whidbey Island community! My partner and I are relocating to Whidbey Island at the beginning of May for an exciting job opportunity I recently received in Langley, and we are struggling to find the right long-term rental on the south end of the island.
A bit about us: my partner works as an engineer in the tech industry and I am in the wine industry. We’re both working professionals, responsible, and excited to become part of the community with our two cats, Sprout and Mr. Business. We tend to be homebodies who enjoy hiking, skiing, fishing, playing board games and gardening and after years between major cities, we are so ready to slow down and enjoy this next chapter of our lives.
We’re ideally looking for a 2–3 bedroom home and hoping to find a lease in the 18–24 month range (or longer if it’s a good fit). If anyone knows of available rentals, upcoming openings, has recommendations on where to look, or just wants to say “hi” we’d really appreciate any leads or advice and some connection.
