I would say cucumber has a pretty subtle flavor so it's interesting it's chosen as a chip flavor. I didn't snag a bag so I'm wondering if anyone has tried it.

I've been collecting denim for about 10 years now and always gravitated towards Japanese denim but am always curious about Chinese denim. Sauce Zhan has always been on my radar and managed to pick up a pair from my recent trip to China. I paid a little over $100 and got it shipped through taobao.

As far as I know, Sauce Origin is Sauce Zhan's more premium offering and I'm blown away by the details from this pair: silver buttons, silver thread, blue selvedge line, custom brown pockets, decorative pocket and fly stitching, and horse hair leather patch.

This pair comes in 2 different fits: slim and regular straight. I snagged the regular straight version.

Footwear is not necessarily "heritage wear". However, I can't bring myself to wear my boots anymore as they are much harder to put on and not as comfortable as sneakers.

Wife ended up picking up the olive pair while we're in Shanghai. I like the 204l but don't think it really suits my body type since I think they are better for slimmer builds. I'm glad she was convinced to get a pair because this collab seems pretty cool.

Can't find much information about this release in the US but this could be an Asia or China exclusive release. Beast is a flower shop in Shanghai. Comes with panda hang tag, extra olive laces, lace beads and badge.

Paid 1000 yuan so pretty much the same as the US retail price. I notice the made in pairs are way more expensive here.

The black and white pair has nice shaggy suede but reminds me too much of panda dunks which she already has. So I pushed her to get the olive pair. Also the olive pair has the pink hints and gum soles which I think are nice touches.
