Any boys out there who are soft spoken?
My son is soft spoken and doesn't get along with other boys. Some of the boys have asked him to play with him in the beginning of the year, but my son would say no. I asked him why, and his reply was that they can be mean. Now, the boys won't play with him. I volunteer often at the school, sometimes during recess time, and I've heard some boys "gossip" if you will and point at my son for liking girl toys.
My son isn't your typical "boy," he likes a lot of toys that are geared towards girls and the boys in his class are already playing Minecraft, while we haven't introduced him games like that.
The girls also tend to play with other girls, I've noticed. Just wanted to see if there are other moms out there in a similar situation and how did your son eventually make school friends?
