Real vs Fake Lazulia
These are the differences between a real and a fake Jellycat Lazulia Dragon.
The newer dragons produced from Autumn 2025 onward all have a QR code. However, be careful: older models do not have a QR code, even if they may have been produced recently.
This is actually a very good fake. But pay attention to these details:
The eyes are slightly larger.
The fur is paler.
The wings are thinner.
The fur is slightly shorter.
The tag with the cat logo is an older one from the Onyx Dragon.
Also make sure that the tags attached to the dragon itself are readable and not upside down. The only exception is the batch code with “RDW2DD,” which should be upside down.
The weight is usually higher, and there is less stuffing material inside.
