Tapering from Zoloft to Viibryd Tips
F30. After a year and a half on 50mg of zoloft, and a failed taper down to 25mg zoloft, I simply can't take the side effects anymore. My libido is non-existant and I can't orgasm. But zoloft has been life changing for my anxiety and regulating my emotions. I also have ADHD and take 10mg Adderall.
Psych encouraged me to switch to Viibryd and we are starting with a slow taper of 37.5 Z and 5mg V for 7 days, then going to 25mg Z and 10 mg V, working my way up to 20 mg of Viibryd. I have a lot of health anxiety and am terrified of this process and the negative side effects I've read on this thread.
Does anyone have any success stories completing this taper/with this med? How long did it take? Any and all tips are welcome.
Before anyone asks - adding wellbutrin to zoloft did not work for me.
