What are my options as a certified arborist, marketing minor?
I was just given my two weeks notice from a small for-profit tree service who couldn’t afford to have me on the team any longer in this difficult market. Now that I am back on the job hunt I want to make sure I really look at my options and go after the right thing. I really love the plant health care side of arboriculture, and I like business development and sales as well. In previous roles: I loved the flexible schedule of working in Business Development, and WFH. I HATED having to get up in the dark to show a tree job. I was offered a city arborist position but turned it down as it was in-office every day and far from my home, but could be interested in municipal or non-profit work. I’m in Altanta, GA - the city in the forest!
