My doctor wants to start me on GLP-1's, but I'm not sure if it's right for me?

So a little background, I'm a 28 year old male who has always struggled with eating habits and being overweight. I decided back in March of 2024 while at 275 pounds that I needed to change. I focused primarily for the first two-three months on just having a better diet and maintaining a calorie deficit of about 1800kcal a day. After those two-three months I started focusing on exercise, mainly running and strength training. By about December of 2024 I was down to 219 pounds and feeling great, but then everything just stopped. I began seeing a nutritionist for months where we tried different calorie goals and different macros and the scale was just stuck at 220 o'clock 225 pounds for essentially all of 2025. I'm now at around 2000kcal a day as that is what gives me the most energy and productivity with my activity level. From about mid January 2026 on I wasn't really active due to winter weather and lingering injuries, and I gained back weight while at 2000kcal and now sit at 245 pounds. During a recent visit with my primary care, he seems to think it's time I try a GLP1, most likely Zepbound. I'm not necessarily opposed to the idea, but I worry that I'm going to be eating less and have that lethargic feeling come back from a lack of calories to support my exercise (I had struggled with that feeling during a 1600kcal trial run per the nutritionist.) He seems to think that the GLP1 could just be a catalyst to help kick start things again and break my plateau and reminded me I've already done the harder part of the lifestyle change, but I'm just skeptical if I'm the right fit for something like this. One of the things I’ve always struggled with is food noise and cravings, especially with sweets, so I do think that I could benefit greatly in that regard. I'm curious in here if anyone had a similar experience or just any general advice.
