Any intel on whether 156/Silence is playing Blood Loss on tour? BODIES and People Watching have been my two comfort albums on repeat as I’ve been deciding whether I should end things with my fiancé/partner of 8 years. Welp, I just broke up with her, and the first thing I did was buy a ticket to the concert in Boston. I live on the west coast but I need to be in Boston during their west coast leg of the tour for a mastectomy consultation (lmao) so I thought I’d just resigned myself to missing it.
But screw it I’m untethered and I shouldn’t be trauma dumping on Reddit and I’ll def delete this post but I just really want to hear Blood Loss and I haven’t slept at all and I figured it was worth asking! I’ve never been to a concert by myself (28F) and have only gone to maybe 3 pop concerts throughout my life. My fiancé always told me not to go out by myself because it was unsafe and I’d be inviting guys to creep on me but sheeee went out all the time..she was just jelly. I’m still scared that she was right and that I’m asking for it if I go by myself and dress up/look hot. I just wanna dance and drink and throw some ass to my two favorite comfort albums! (I listened to BODIES four times through while cooking a 5 course meal and listen to it every night as I’ve taught myself how to do the splits on both sides! Yay for coping mechanisms?)
Tbh I’ll probably be the resident crazy lady over-sharing to anyone who will listen so maybe I shouldn’t try to make new friends but uh anyone else going solo to the Boston show? ..Sorry, I’ll stfu and delete this post soon enough.
