Early days of building a social media intelligence tool for creators and brands. Honest feedback welcome

I have been building Creator Insights (creatorinsights.in) for a while now and we are still in the early stages. Sharing here because I am at the point where I need outside eyes more than I need to keep shipping.

What it does: you can audit any YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or X profile, track trends in real time across five networks, research YouTube keywords, transcribe any video and chat with an AI about the content, and search through 450 million plus creator profiles to find the right collaborators or influencers for a campaign.

The frustration that started it was that doing all of this meant bouncing between four or five different tools. I wanted one place that handled the whole workflow, from spotting a trend to finding the creator to act on it to writing the script.

Most features are free. Some are paid. I have tried to make the free tier genuinely useful rather than a teaser for the paid stuff, but I am not sure I have got the balance right yet.

A few things I am genuinely unsure about and would love input on:

Does the positioning make sense, or does it feel like it is trying to do too much?
Is there a feature here that you would actually pay for, and is it behind the paywall or free right now?
What is the first thing that would make you stop using it?

Would love to know what you think, what feels off, or what you would want that is not there yet.

Looking for testers for a social media analytics tool I have been building

Hey everyone, I have been working on Creator Insights (creatorinsights.in) for a while now and we are at about 10 users at this point. It is a tool that lets you audit YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and X profiles, track trending topics, research keywords, and find creators from a database of 450 million plus profiles.

You can also paste any video link, get a transcript, and chat with an AI about the content or use it to write a new script in your style.

Most of what is in the tool is free. A handful of things are behind a paywall but you can get real use out of it without spending anything.

I am at the stage where I really need people to poke around and tell me what is confusing, what feels unnecessary, and what is missing. If you are a creator, marketer, or work with brands, I would love to hear from you specifically.

Drop a comment or send me a DM and I will set you up with access. Honest feedback only, please.

I've been studying viral YouTube thumbnails for the last few months, and one thing keeps showing up over and over again.

The thumbnails that perform best usually aren't the most aesthetic. They're the ones that create curiosity instantly. They make you feel like you're missing something if you don't click.

After looking at hundreds of high-performing videos, these 3 things show up almost every time:

  • A clear focal point: One face, one object, one emotion. Not 3 different things fighting for attention.
  • Contrast over color: Dark vs light beats pretty color palettes every time when it comes to stopping the scroll.
  • An open loop: The thumbnail hints at something, but doesn't fully answer the question. It creates tension with the title instead of repeating it.

Honestly, the fastest growing channels aren't always making the best content. They're making the most clickable entry point into their content.

Happy to share more if people find this interesting. I've been going pretty deep on this lately.
