I've become Reliant on my Watch

I've had a Fenix 7 Pro SS for the past year, and realistically, the only time it has been off has been while showering, just to prevent soaps/detergents from accidentally getting to the seals in the watch. I recently had to send it in for warranty replacement due to battery issues.

I didn't realize it at the time, but I've become reliant on my watch. Like, to a co-dependency kind of level. I keep looking down at my wrist, and just see a circle and a tanline, and keep getting upset that my watch isn't there. I almost feel naked.

Has anyone else had this problem? Should I buy a cheap watch just to have something there? Should I just wait it out? Does anyone know how quick the turnaround for warranty replacements is? I've got an itch that I can't scratch, and it's driving me up the wall. I want my watch back...

I often go on longer trips, and the fuel tank just isn't big enough for them. I get cheap gas at the reserve close to me before going on those trips, so why not get the cheap gas for the entire trip instead of having to fill-up halfway through with expensive stuff?

Two 20L Jerry Cans, almost like they were made to fit there. Should effectively give me double the range.

If anyone has any good ideas for safely mounting them aside from how I have with heavy duty rubber straps to the two seatback hooks on each side, I'd appreciate it! I realize this isn't ideal, and probably even haphazard and dangerous, but I don't intend to keep them in the vehicle long-term when full of fuel.
