Hi everyone,

I’m currently deciding between two bikes and would appreciate feedback, especially from Polygon owners.

Polygon Strattos S7D (red) – 1599$

Polygon Strattos 7 2026 (black/gold) – 1799$

From what I understand:

S7D is under the “S Carbon” line (more aggressive/race-leaning geometry?)

Strattos 7 is part of the standard Strattos endurance line (more relaxed geometry?)

My riding style:

Mostly solo rides(sometimes group rides)

Distance: usually 40–100 km, planning to go longer

I like riding at a steady fast pace but not sprint-heavy

I want something I can use comfortably for the next 5 years

What I’m trying to decide:

Is the S7D too aggressive for long solo rides over time?

Does the Strattos 7 feel significantly more comfortable on longer rides?

Any regrets choosing one over the other after 1–2+ years?

Other notes:

Both have Shimano 105 12-speed, so I assume performance is similar

I’m okay upgrading wheels later if needed

Would really appreciate feedback from anyone who has ridden either (or both). Thanks!
