I am finding it quite difficult to get hired as a train conductor anywhere. Now, this isn't unexpected. I'm 18 and have no prior experience in the industry. But what's weird is that only 2 of my applications have been rejected- my BNSF application and my first CSX application. All the others have been completely unanswered for months from NS, UP, CSX, Genessee and Wyoming (several G&W railroads) and others. Does anyone have insight into what is happening and/or what I can do? I know that this process can take a long time but it's really got me on edge. Thanks.
