Have you ever been to a Hellenic (pagan) wedding?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if any of you has ever been to a Hellenic pagan wedding? Or maybe was it your wedding?

If so, how was it? What ceremonies did you see/partake in?

I know that pagan weddings happen, but every time I see one, it's always based on Nordic or Celtic traditions, I feel like I've never seen a Hellenic one (:

Thank you ^^

Woke up panting and breathless on my back after a dream that I couldn't breathe

Hello everyone,

I want to ask you if you, as people with sleep apnea, think I should see a doctor about this or if this "happens" to everyone -- I find it difficult to tell

I had a dream that I was sitting on a bench eating and then my friend and I fell back laughing and we laughed so much that we were out breath -- especially my friend who was making weird laughing noises that went on and on bc she was out of breath

Then I woke up suddenly and realized the noises were me: I was panting really hard and I was sleeping on my back trying to catch my breath. I made a weird squeaky hiccup noise and finally managed to catch my breath

I really felt like I was gonna die of laughter in my dream, which is fun, but I can't help but wonder if I was actually about to die of asphyxia in my sleep

I have a history of long covid, had a really horrible time when I got covid too: it left me panting for my life on my couch

Not only that, I also have a genetic heart murmur and been struggling with it lately for some reason which I assumed was bc I don't exercise enough: but now can't help wondering if it has something to do with sleep apnea

I've also been having night sweats and am a huge insomniac

So, bc I've read all of these to be symptoms, I wonder if you guys think this is a sign for me to get a diagnosis or if I'm simply making myself anxious for trivialities

Thank you!!

Edit: I would also like to mention that although I don't exercise, I walk a lot and am at a "normal" weight, I even struggle with gaining and staying at a healthy weight

In which ways have the gods showed themselves the most clearly to you?

I would love to hear some of your stories if you're comfortable sharing! What made you go "oh damn, they're here for real"
