The "Blossomwood" , neri-koh, incense season has begun! 💚 Day 1 of Hyacinths into super-grade, wild Nha Trang, post-distillation, agarwood-which still holds incredible fragrance. The Hyacinths will add back in some top notes, which heavy resins in the base will hold.
I live off-grid in the forest for half of the year and use incense daily, on my outdoor altar, to connect with the nature spirits. This incense is composed mostly of lichens from this very same forest. The earthy smell of the lichens blends with the moist smells of the understory, while the smoke rises, calling in the land spirits.
