genuinely nervous about Berlin S2 and I hate that I am
like I want to be excited. I am excited. but there's this thing that happens with shows that end really well where the sequel has an impossible job before it even starts
S1 ended in a way that felt complete. not "left open for more" complete, actually complete. the kind of ending where you don't need more but you'd watch more. that's a hard thing to pull off and they did it. so now S2 has to walk in after that and justify existing, which is brutal
my specific fears without spoiling anything:
1/ they explain too much. S1 worked partly because some things were left alone
2/ the tone shifts. darker or lighter, either would feel off
3/ Berlin himself becomes someone different to fit a new story
I'll watch it regardless obviously. but there's a version of S2 that makes me wish they'd stopped and there's a version that makes S1 even better in hindsight. those are very different outcomes.
hoping it's the second one. dropping soon so I guess we find out
so i went last year for 7d6n and it was a great great trip, skipped some major tourist destinations and explored the city a little differently
so my cousin is going this year for his honeymoon and I made him a ppt on gamma, its here - https://gamma.app/docs/Dubai-Solo-Under-55K-jlb8wlztfrnn3k1?mode=doc, on tips and tricks for dubai trip, i thought of posting this here
also forgot to add, dubai beaches are really impressive please go there if you have the time
