Ketamine and stuttering: case report with temporary complete remission of speech dysfluency
A clinical case reported a complete and near-immediate remission of stuttering in an individual with Tartamudez following the administration of Ketamina for an unrelated medical indication.
During the drug’s effect, the following was observed:
near-complete disappearance of speech blocks
abrupt normalization of speech fluency
spontaneous, continuous, and automatic speech
marked reduction in interference from conscious speech monitoring
