I made an MBTI prompt that actually works — scenarios based on YOUR interests, not abstract questions

Hey everyone,

I got frustrated with traditional MBTI tests giving inconsistent results, so I built a prompt for Claude/ChatGPT that discovers your cognitive function stack differently.

**The core problem with existing tests:**

They ask abstract questions like "do you prefer logic or feelings?" — and people (including me) answer based on who they *want* to be, not how they actually behave. Result: widespread mistyping.

**What this prompt does instead:**

- Asks you for your personal interests first (anime, fitness, cooking, etc.)

- Builds every scenario around those specific interests

- Digs deeper with follow-ups when your answer is vague

- At the end: shows your full function stack with YOUR OWN WORDS as evidence

**Example scenario (for anime fans):**

*"You're mid-episode and a shocking plot twist happens that you didn't see coming. What's the first thing your brain does?"*

That's it. No abstract traits. Just real situations from your actual life.

**How to use it:**

  1. Copy the prompt (it's in comments)

  2. Paste into Claude or ChatGPT

  3. Tell it your interests

  4. Answer honestly — it will push you for specifics

Would love feedback from people who know their type well — does the result match? Drop your type and what you thought of the scenarios.

*Built this after going through the test myself and getting a much more accurate result than 16personalities ever gave me.*
