Looking for temporary foster homes for rescued cats. (A week, 2 weeks, or longer)
I'm not an "official" rescue, but there are lots of stray cats in my neighborhood (Pigtown) that I rescue and rehome as I can, and I help some people in the surrounding neighborhoods with trapping/neutering feral cats and rescuing friendly strays. I have a few friends who will foster a cat for me here and there, but would love to find a few more people who are willing!
The cats are fixed and vaccinated/vetted, some might be OK with other cats/dogs, while some would prefer to be an "only." (Those are the ones who are usually most in need, they definitely can not be an "only" in my house!) Ideally fosters would keep them until they get adopted, but it's also helpful sometimes just to see how a cat does in a home environment for a week or two, so even short term can work.
I can provide food and other supplies if needed. If you're not quite ready for a lifetime commitment but want some feline companionship, hit me up! Cat tax included... yes, this is one who could use a foster once he gets neutered next week!
