I'm an ATGATT guy, even to the corner shop for milk. I wear a helite air bag and a proper jacket. Both have certified back protection. Is 'doubling up' the back protection providing limited benefit? Sometimes I'd like to pack the vest in the top case and I read a comment last year by a Redditor who had removed the airbag back protection so the vest could be folded into the top case. Obviously I'd keep wearing the vest but would one back protection armour be sufficient?
