I'm currently shopping for a manual C6 Grand Sport to replace my 6th Gen Camaro (V6 RS). My biggest gripe with the Camaro is the ride quality; it's tiring enough on my daily commute that discourages me from taking it on long road trips.

I've been researching Magnetic Ride Control (MRC) and the Jim Mero upgrade, but finding a manual GS with MRC on the market is proving to be a challenge. I recently test drove a GS without MRC, and to my surprise, it actually felt more compliant than my Camaro.

C6 Owners:

1. MRC vs. Base: How much of a game changer is MRC for daily commuting? If I find a clean GS without it, will I regret not holding out for a Mag Ride car?
2. Camaro Comparison: For anyone who has seat time in both an Alpha-chassis Camaro and a C6, did you also find C6 to be more comfortable?

I'm trying to decide if I should keep hunting for that unicorn manual GS with MRC car or just pull the trigger on a clean base-suspension GS. Thanks!
