Does the smell-level of poop decrease as a fart passes over it, thus increasing the smell of the fart exiting? Or do they have a set stink?

So this is something I've wondered about for a while. I drew this diagram to help explain what I'm asking. Title and picture basically describe what I'm trying to ask, but I have follow ups.

Does the smell of the fart and the poop affect one another like fluids in a heat exchanger?

Is the rate of "smell transfer" proportional? As in, is the rate of the smell-level increasing in the fart directly proportional to a rate of smell-level in the poop decreasing?

Can I make my poops smell less badly by farting more pre-poop in a toilet?

Is this quantifiable? I was thinking take a group of people who don't have to poop, and have them fart (control farts). Measure the smell somehow. Then have them poop without farting and measure the smell of the poop (control poops). Later on with that same group of people, once they do have to poop (of course they will have all eaten the same thing to ensure similar smells), have them fart and measure that smell (sample farts). Then have the group poop after farting a bunch, and measure the smell of those post-fart poops (sample poops).
